This way doesn´t cause any environmental pollution it only transforms temporally and gets back to the original status.
According with GESAMP “marine pollution is all kind of direct or indirect entering of substances or energy into the marine environment, resulting harmful like damages on living resources, risks of human health, problems by marine activities inclusive the fishing, diminution of sea water”.

Under these terms of GESAMP the CHLOROMAR doesn´t emit any harmful substances to the marine environment.
